The year-old singer discussed the photo in question during a recent episode of her “Used. Miley Cyrus has joked that a photo from was a clear indication of her bisexuality. Over the last two weeks, the Plastic Hearts singer has looked back at her extensive career in light of her new single ‘Used To Be Young’. During a chat with Variety, Miley Cyrus revealed that her "eyes started opening in the fifth or sixth grade" about her sexuality, but she wasn't sure how to explain what was going on in her head.

The pop star elaborated, "My whole life, I didn't understand my own gender and my own sexuality. “A big part of my pride and identity is being a queer person,” says the artist, who came out as pansexual and then genderqueer several years ago. I, a member of the LGBTQ+ community, applaud. Good news!

Miley Cyrus has confirmed her upcoming album is for the gays. On 6 May, the singer joined Spotify for a private preview of Something Beautiful, her next studio album. The event included an opportunity for fans to ask Miley questions and one asked how gay the album would be. The album is set to be released on 30 May and will be accompanied by a musical film of the same name later in June.

Three songs have already been released — Prelude, a spoken word track, the title song, and End Of The World, a disco-esque song about escapism.
